HTML tag

Use of tag

The tag is used to define underlined texts. It simply underlines the texts, it does not carry any important meaning. It has a special use on the illustration and finding out of misspelled words or terms.
The tag was depreciated in HTML4,01 but restored in HTML5. It is better to use tag with CSS properties instead of using tag to style the texts rather to be underline only. (see example)
Type: Inline Element
